Are there odorless quick cure epoxies?
EB-103F
While useful in many applications, 5-minute and 10 minute epoxies can be very difficult to handle. One of the issues is the foul odor of almost all of these types epoxies. This is due to the mercaptan curing agent which makes it cure very quickly. While not a traditional quick cure epoxy, EB-103F cures in 5-10 minutes with absolutely no foul odor. Unlike many 5 minute epoxies, EB-103F can also be used in small potting applications as well as bonding.
EB-103F has been used for over 15 years in electronic countermeasure systems in the aerospace industry. Its fast cure time and lack of odor allows for high efficiency and less health risks than traditional odorous epoxies.
